Join at The Capitol for the Fashion Film Award Ceremony, where the Official Selection will be screened and Best Direction and Styling will be announced, followed by a panel discussion. The screening will also feature Micky In The Van's short fashion film celebrating the whimsical beauty and poetry of art and fashion, ahead of the Official Selection.
The Fashion Film Award is the longest-running and leading platform in Australia for the exposure and recognition of local and international creative talent working in the fashion film medium. The Awards place a deserving spotlight on fashion films as a key communication medium for both fashion designers and filmmakers and for their ability to enable audiences to experience fashion in innovative and creative ways.
Since the Award’s inception, it has been a feature within the Melbourne Fashion Festival’s Arts Program, with highly esteemed judging panels selecting a wonderful array of Australian and international fashion films to showcase to diverse audiences. The Official 2021 Selection will be announced on February 15th.
