Trumpeter and Vocalist Audrey Powne, is a name on the rise in both jazz and R&B circles. Known for fronting sweet soul band Leisure Centre and her dynamic, electro funk project Au Dré, 2020 saw her release her debut EP as a solo artist "Bed I Made" to much critical acclaim alongside live set for Boiler Room.
Hailed as one to watch by outlets including Bandcamp Daily, NME, earmilk and legendary BBC radio DJ Gilles Peterson in this very special, performance as part of Brunswick Music Festival Audrey will be joined by a new band of legendary local musicians Jonathan Skovron (Linda May Han Oh, Invenio) on guitar, Jonathan Zion (Neil Finn, The Whitlams, Motorace), and Nick Karasavvidis (Dr FINK, SURESHOCK, James Morrison) to perform a collection of her old tunes, some new tunes and some soul classics.
